Therapy Services Include
Individual Psychotherapy
Neurodiversity-informed Mental Health Assessment and Strategy Sessions
Individual Psychotherapy
Sessions for adults on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
– A supportive space to talk through persistent feelings of stress, anxiety, or low mood.
– A space for processing neurodiversity, autism, ADHD, physical health issues, mental/emotional well-being, and struggles with friends, family, and work.
– These sessions offer someone to listen, help put difficulties in context, and build skills for improvement.
Neurodiversity-informed Mental Health Assessment
and Strategy Sessions
– This involves identifying your challenges, strengths, and potential mental health conditions, followed by developing a comprehensive treatment plan.
– You can choose to receive a several-page written report summarizing the assessment and recommendations after the third session. This comes with an additional fee for time spent on it outside the sessions.
– You have the option to continue working together in weekly or bi-weekly therapy sessions.
These strategy sessions are part of the therapeutic process and are focused on clinical assessment and treatment planning.

Insurance and Billing
All insurance plans differ regarding what they will and will not pay for. Each has unique policies, exclusions, rules, and differences in coverage determined by the company or state.
All appointments are self-pay and you can choose to receive a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement using out-of-network benefits.
If you want to know what your insurance covers, we recommend calling the customer service number on your insurance card. You can inquire if your plan includes out-of-network coverage for therapy. The customer service representative will need a CPT code for the sessions. The CPT code 90891 is used for the initial intake session. For the subsequent therapy sessions, the code 90837 will be used for billing purposes.
What We Cannot Do
Exploring Divergence and its providers cannot know what your insurance company will or won’t cover. We can support you in determining the costs of your care, but our scope in this regard is limited. Please talk to your provider about session cost.
We welcome all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, age, religion, gender identity, sexual identity, relationship status, body composition, or disability. We pledge to provide a safe space for our team and our clients.
